John Kyl and #Not Intended To Be A Factual Statement.

The other day Senator John Kyl (R-AZ) stood on the floor of the Senate, and told inaccurate statistics about Planned Parenthood. When he was confronted on this, his office said that what he said was "not intended to be a factual statement".

If our elected officials stand up and give knowingly inaccurate information, they need to be called out, mocked and shamed.

Stephen Colbert started a Twitter campaign that has become exceedingly popular. So popular, that a person could not keep up with it if they tried.

The best response I have heard on this, comes from a commenter on the Democratic Underground named randr, who said "I would love to see every interviewer of a Republican ask this question after every response, "is your answer intended to be a factual statement or just another lie?"."
