What will happen to this country without Medicare as we know it? The Ryan Plan will end Medicare as we know it. (Calling the new plan the same name, doesn't make it the same plan.) A voucher system that pays a premium support will replace it. This will create a larger payment for an already overburdened elderly society.
The Ryan Budget at the same time, if enacted, will give even more tax breaks for the wealthy.
