Daily Kos: Ohioans Need to Hear the Truth About "Right to Work"
Daily Kos: Ohioans Need to Hear the Truth About "Right to Work":
Last November, Ohio’s working families stood up to Gov. John Kasich and corporate interests by overwhelmingly repealing Senate Bill 5, which would have cut collective bargaining rights for over 350,000 Ohio workers.
But only a few months later, a Quinnipiac poll shows that 54 percent of Ohioans would support a so-called “right to work” law, which in 22 other states have lowered wages for all workers, created less safe workplaces, and weakened the ability of unions to represent their members. (This does not bode well for the future of Indiana, the 23rd RTW state). Read More Here.

Collins: Catholic bishops cling to old dogma on birth control: National Columnists | Alaska news at adn.com:
This is a really old story, but let me tell you anyway.
When I was first married, my mother-in-law sat down at her kitchen table and told me about the day she went to confession and told the priest that she and her husband were using birth control. She had several young children, times were difficult -- really, she could have produced a list of reasons longer than your arm.

Modern Day Pharisees How the Religious Right is Turning People Against God--Motivated In Ohio
Ralph Reed creator of the Christian Coalition, helped enslave people in the Mariana Islands by lobbying against any regulations to oversee the conditions there.
This is the face of the Religious Right. They get unsuspecting Christians to lobby for the most outrageous offenses to mankind. All in the name of Christ.
Dead Beat Dad Joe Walsh, received an award from the Family Research Council, a lobbying group headed by Tony Perkins. He voted their agenda. He also owes his children, $117,000 in child support. Where is their outrage about a man who doesn't take care of his children?
The Religious Right is not about following the Teachings of Jesus. They are a group of mislead people, that are easily manipulated by lobbying groups, to enact whatever policies they want. It is not about following one's conscience. It is about greed.
"The radical left, the Big Labor Union Bosses, and Bill Clinton want to pass a law preventing Chinese from coming to work on the Marianas Islands," the mailer from Reed's firm said. The Chinese workers, it added, "are exposed to the teachings of Jesus Christ" while on the islands, and many "are converted to the Christian faith and return to China with Bibles in hand."
A year earlier, the Department of the Interior -- which oversees federal policy toward the U.S. territory -- presented a very different picture of life for Chinese workers on the islands. An Interior report found that Chinese women were subject to forced abortions and that women and children were subject to forced prostitution in the local sex-tourism industry. Washington Post 2008

Plunderbund interview with SOTS speech protester Portia Boulger:
If you watched Kasich’s State of the State speech on Tuesday you likely noticed, among the references to blue tongued cows and hot wives and wackadoodles from California, a short but loud outbreak of protests when the Governor discussed his plans for the expansion of fracking and fracking-related industry in the state.
